Private and secure studio apartments
Each apartment has six individual studio rooms which are secure and private. The communal areas provide an excellent space for socialising with other tenants.
If you prefer, each studio room is well-equipped with its own kitchenette (including a microwave and mini-fridge) and ensuite bathroom.
You can use the TV in the living room or have your own TV mounted on the wall bracket in your studio. CCTV cameras have been installed outside to provide additional security.
Convenient Location
The Nest is walking distance from the University of Waikato. If you fancy exploring the CBD, a short bus trip is easy, with a bus stop at your doorstep. Supermarkets in the area make shopping for essentials easy. Cultural centres like the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts and other local attractions are close as well, you’ll never be bored.

The Nest was completed in March 2021.
Each apartment is furnished with a mini fridge, a double bed with mattress, a microwave, a panel heater, a TV mounted on a wall bracket, and a table and chair set. The common kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, and ceramic cooktop. The living room has a sofa and TV area. You also have access to a heatpump, washing machine, dryer and waste disposal unit.
It is within a 10 minute walk to the Waikato University and also has a bus stop at your doorstep so you can explore the area and CBD.
The Nest is just a short drive away from the CBD. If you’re dependent on public transport, there is a bus stop at your doorstep.
The Hillcrest shops, a medical centre, Countdown Claudelands supermarket, The Warehouse Hillcrest and a Four Square are in the area, so you don’t have to venture far to do your shopping. For a quick bite, there are various fast-food centres around Hillcrest. The Waikato Innovation Park is a popular attraction. Besides the University of Waikato, the Academy of performing Arts is also close by.
